Ferdinand von Stülpnagel was a Prussian general officer and
Director of the General War Department in the Prussian War Ministry.
His son Wolf Louis Ferdinand von Stülpnagel commanded XIII. Army Corps
during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-71, while
his grandson Ferdinand Wolf Konstantin von Stülpnagelwas commander of
V. Army Corps at the turn of the century.
