General von Fallois
served as commanding general of the XIII Army Corps in Stuttgart from 1907
to 1908. Fallois entered military service as a Fähnrich in June 1866, when his
regiment saw action in the Austro-Prussian War of 1866.
He was severely wounded during the Battle of Königgrätz. Later during the
Franco-Prussian War of 1870-71, Fallois served as a Sekonde-Lieutenant
with 2. Garde-Regiment z.F. He was further engaged as a company
commander in action at Gravelotte, Sedan, and the Siege of
Paris.
