Royal Bavarian Prince Arnulf von Bayern
served as a commander of I. Royal Bavarian Corps in Munich from 1890 to
1906. He was the youngest son of Prince-Regent Luitpold and Auguste
Ferdinande von Österreich-Toskana. Arnulf was married in 1882 to
Princess Therese von und zu Liechtenstein. He died in Venice, Italy at
the age of 55. The Arnulf-Straße in Munich is named
after him, as is the Bavarian Infantry Leib-Regiment facility "Prinz
Arnulf-Kaserne".
