Prince
Adolf was the son of Prince Georg and Maria Anna von
Sachsen- Altenburg. Following his abdication in November of 1918,
Prince Adolf and his wife Elisabeth Bischoff-Korthaus settled in
Brijuni, Croatia. In 1936, they were both killed when their plane
crashed while traveling in Mexico.
