Generalmajor Karl von Reck was a Royal Bavarian division commander during the Great World War. He was initially in command of the 20th Infantry Division as German forces mobilized for the conflict, part of I. Bavarian Army Corps under Ritter von Xylander. General von Reck additionally commanded 8th Infantry Battalion for about one year, and in 1917 was placed at the head of Bavaria's 39th Reserve Division until the November 1918 Armistice.
