Imperial German general officer Richard von Webern commanded at the division and corps level during the First World War. He served the first half of the War at the head of 11th Infantry Division and in support of Duke Albrecht's Fourth Army. Following just over a year as head of General Command Nr 62, Generalleutnant von Webern was selected to head XVII. Army Corps during the spring of 1918, before being placed on inactive reserve status.
